Most deals sites list everything that pays a commission. That is the whole business model, and it is why they are useless — a wall of 40% off items where 38 of them were never worth the original price.
Here is how this site is different, and where the limits are.
The rules we apply
- The reference price has to be real. A “was $19.99, now $8.98” is only listed if the item has actually sold near $19.99 in the last 90 days. Round-up pricing invented for the discount gets filtered out.
- Under $30, always. Cheap and weird is the whole niche. We are not going to be your source for a $400 robot vacuum.
- Shipping to the US is stated, not assumed. If a listing does not ship here, it does not get listed, no matter how good the price is.
- One sentence of judgement per item. Not “great value!” — a real sentence about who should buy it and who should not. If we cannot write one, we do not understand the product well enough to promote it.
- A commission rate never changes the ranking. Items are ordered by discount depth and usefulness, not by what they pay us.
Where the data comes from
Price, rating and sales volume are collected from the retailers’ own public listing pages. Shipping windows come from the delivery estimate shown at checkout for a US address.
We do not scrape review text and we do not republish manufacturer copy.
How we get paid
Every outbound link on this site goes through a redirect that identifies us as the referrer. If you buy within the retailer’s cookie window, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the order. This is standard affiliate marketing and it comes out of their marketing budget.
The price you pay is identical. We cannot change it, and we cannot see your payment details.
What we will not do
- List a product we have not read the negative reviews for.
- Call something a deal when the “original” price is fictional.
- Hide the affiliate relationship. It is disclosed on every page.
- Take a payment from a brand to move an item up the list. Nobody can buy placement here.
If a listing is wrong
Prices and stock move constantly. If something on this site is out of date or a listing appears to be misleading, tell us and it gets fixed or removed.
